Before joining MCB, Andrew was a partner in the litigation department of a national law firm’s New York office. His practice focused on medical malpractice issues, with a client base including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, hospitals, and health care systems. His responsibilities encompassed all phases of litigation, from legal research and depositions to leading mediations, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court proceedings. Andrew also managed client relationships, providing comprehensive guidance and counsel throughout the litigation process. Outside of his own legal work, he contributed to the development of the firm’s talent by mentoring and overseeing junior associates.
Prior to this position, Andrew served as an associate attorney in the litigation department of a large defense litigation firm at its Connecticut office. There, his practice focused on professional liability, products liability, and general casualty litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Specific experience included formulating case strategies; drafting a broad variety of legal documents; researching legal issues; conducting and defending depositions; participating in pre-trial preparation and trial activities; and conducting both formal mediations and settlement negotiations.
Earlier still, Andrew held two judicial internships and served as a summer associate at a New York area law firm—experiences which collectively established a solid understanding of court proceedings and the overall legal system.
Andrew has been selected to the New York Rising Stars list for four consecutive years, 2020-2024, earning the respect of his peers as one of the top-rated attorneys in the nation. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor.
Andrew received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the The College of William and Mary, where he made Dean’s List every year. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2015,where he was Senior Editor of the Boston College Law Review. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
