Prior to joining MCB, Catherine worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence Bureau of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. There, she was responsible for prosecuting felony and misdemeanor domestic violence cases ranging from assault, burglary, and criminal possession of firearms to rape and child endangerment. Handling over two hundred cases at any given time provided her with invaluable jury trial and case management experience. She also presented multiple grand jury cases and engaged in hundreds of plea negotiations.
Catherine received her B.A. cum laude from Marist College. She earned her J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she received the Harry N. Mazadoorian Society for Dispute Resolution Award and served as Article and Opinions Editor for the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. She is admitted to practice in New York.
