Prior to joining MCB, Clifford served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. Representing the People of New York in a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases, he gained critical trial and related experience, including drafting legal documents, conducting investigations, and interviewing witnesses. He has also held legal and judicial internships which honed his legal research and draftsmanship skills and provided intimate familiarity with the workings of hearings and trials.
Clifford received his B.A. from Adelphi University in 2016 and earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2020. There, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, a teacher in the Street Law Program, and Secretary of the Association of Black Law Students. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
