Senior Trial Partner Jacqueline’s interest in health care law was sparked at an early age by growing up in a household which emphasized science and medicine and instilled respect for medical professionals. This is reflected in her practice, where she loves to combine her passion for medicine with her oral, written and analytic skills to form robust defenses for her clients.
Jacqueline focuses intently on client communications, understanding that an organized, understandable, and calm presentation style is critical to enabling clients to navigate through the litigation process. Whether the subject is defense strategy, risk management or the underlying medicine itself, her demeanor instills confidence in her clients and quickly gains their trust.
Encompassing all areas of medical malpractice litigation and nursing home law, as well as general and professional liability matters, her 25+ years of experience include:
· Defending physicians, nursing homes, and hospitals (including Level 1 trauma centers) against all aspects of medical malpractice and general liability claims.
· Defending doctors and other medical professionals in professional liability matters.
· Representing medical personnel and institutions, with particular emphasis on claims involving emergency department care, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, obstetrics and gynecology and chemical dependence.
· Representing physicians in Office of Professional Medical Conduct proceedings.

She also conducts Grand Rounds lectures at teaching hospitals, and has been published in MD News – Long Island. Adding to her impressive tenure at MCB, Jacqueline also served as the Firm’s interim Managing Partner from November 2022 to March 2023.
