Associate
Before joining MCB, John worked at several New York area law firms as an associate, and later as a senior associate, where he handled an assortment of dental, medical, and professional malpractice cases. He also garnered critical experience defending clients in hearings and investigations conducted by the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct. John engaged in other practice areas as well, including general liability, products liability, aviation law, and labor law. In these various roles, John’s specific responsibilities included all aspects of pre-trial discovery; preparation of motions; depositions; legal research; mediation; and litigation of jury trials to verdict.
Prior to practicing within a law firm environment, John served as Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. There, he was responsible for investigating and prosecuting diverse felony and misdemeanor cases ranging from robbery, assault, and child abuse to grand larceny, felony DWI, and investigative grand jury presentations involving allegations against public officials and civil servants.
John received his B.A. cum laude from Lynchburg College in 1993 and earned his J.D. from Washington & Lee University in 1996. He is admitted to practice in New York.
