Managing Partner
Michael is a highly detailed and organized professional who excels at assessing a case’s potential for procedural and/or legal dismissal and developing an accordingly appropriate defense strategy. Also proficient in risk and practice management, his practice draws upon over 25 years of successful litigation and appellate experience.
Prior to coming to MCB, Michael was the managing partner and appellate counsel at a prestigious medical malpractice litigation defense firm located in the New York metropolitan area. His responsibilities included, among others, ensuring that all firm clients were counseled regarding their options at the earliest possible point, examining all case strategies, overseeing the navigation of all cases through the office from initiation through resolution, and ensuring that all cases were handled efficiently and cost-effectively. He also served as the firm’s appellate counsel and prepared and argued all major summary judgment and dismissal motions in the lower courts and on appeal.
Michael received his B.A. from Fordham University with Dean’s List honors. He earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law School, making Dean’s List and receiving a Ranking Scholar honor. He is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
