Associate
Prior to joining MCB, Ryan served as an associate attorney and staff attorney at several law firms in New York state, including a civil litigation firm with a focus on medical malpractice defense. He is proficient in various aspects of case management including preparation of pleadings, conduct of discovery, handling depositions, preparing motions, and engaging in negotiations/mediations. Ryan’s previous experience also included exposure to legal specialties beyond medical malpractice, such as construction labor law, general liability insurance, premises liability, and compliance. In these settings, Ryan engaged in all aspects of commercial litigation as well as diverse business and corporate law matters. Specific responsibilities included drafting pleadings, discovery demands, and motions, as well as preparing and arguing appeals.
Ryan received his B.A. from The College of Saint Rose in 2016, where he made the Dean’s List. He earned his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 2019. He is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
