With our approaches aligned, P&L’s strategic move to MCB will allow us to further expand on and provide high quality and personalized legal services to our clients as we have for over a century.
P&L’s talented team joining MCB includes Jonathan A. Bath, Esq., John M. Bugliosi, Esq., Michael N. Romano, Esq., Adam T. Brown, Esq., Deborah Cann, Esq., and Valerie A. Ruocco, Esq.
Jonathan A. Bath joined P&L in 1995 and became a Partner in 2006. He has almost 20 years of experience defending medical malpractice and general negligence cases through trial. At P&L, Mr. Bath defended high exposure cases in the most difficult venues for defendants and obtained multiple defense verdicts on behalf of clients.
John M. Bugliosi joined P&L as a Senior Trial Attorney in 2004 and became a Partner in 2010. Mr. Bugliosi is a former Kings County District Attorney, having served as Deputy Bureau Chief of the Felony Trial Bureau. Prior to joining P&L, Mr. Bugliosi was a trial attorney at a Manhattan law firm, where he tried numerous general liability and medical malpractice cases, to verdict. Mr. Bugliosi has obtained multiple defense verdicts in medical malpractice actions since joining P&L.
Michael N. Romano joined P&L in 2006 and became a Partner in 2011. At P&L, he served as the Managing Partner and Appellate Counsel. As Managing Partner, Mr. Romano's role was to oversee the navigation of every client's case through the office, from beginning to successful resolution, ensuring each was protected and handled effectively and efficiently. As Appellate Counsel, he has developed an expertise in all phases of appellate practice, perfecting and arguing appeals in the Appellate Divisions throughout New York State.
Deborah Cann, Senior Associate, joined P&L in 2015. She is a graduate of Hofstra Law School and a former Nassau County Assistant District Attorney. Since 2002, she has dedicated her career to the defense of physicians and medical institutions.
Valerie A. Ruocco, Senior Associate, joined P&L in 2013. She graduated with a B.A. from Binghamton University and received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Valerie has spent her entire career defending physicians and medical institutions against allegations of medical malpractice.
Adam T. Brown joined P&L in 2005. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and cum laude from the Boston University School of Law. Before joining P&L, he was the law clerk to the Hon. William A. Kelly, Justice of the Supreme Court, Rockland County.
