The article "Hospitals Beware: Vicarious Liability May Stem From Non-Employed Physicians" discusses a recent Connecticut Supreme Court decision that has broadened a hospital's exposure such that it now includes vicarious liability for alleged negligent acts committed by non-employed physicians based on the theory of apparent agency.
