Effective January 1, we are delighted to announce and celebrate the remarkable achievements of two attorneys, Christopher J. Daniel and Richard Wolf, as they step into their new roles as Partners at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP.
Since joining MCB in February 2019, Chris has consistently demonstrated exceptional legal skill, particularly in defending medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice and general liability cases. His dedication has resulted in numerous successful case outcomes over the past year, cementing his reputation as a highly effective litigator. This year, Chris second-seated two trials that both resulted in defense verdicts, showcasing his courtroom excellence, and he has been integral to the teams representing several of the MCB's major clients. Chris frequently publishes in the Firm's newsletter, and he actively participates in attorney education programs, sharing his expertise and fostering professional growth. His combined expertise and personal qualities make him a valued addition to the Firm. Christopher received his B.A. from Western Connecticut State in 2014, and his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2016. Following graduation, Christopher clerked for the Judges of the Connecticut Superior Court in Stamford, Connecticut.
Richard has been an invaluable asset to MCB since joining the Firm in 2022. He has significantly strengthened our Appellate team, consistently achieving excellent case results that showcase 00his exceptional legal skills. His experience as Senior Appellate Court Attorney at the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, coupled with his background in commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense, has refined his ability to analyze intricate legal arguments and draft compelling opinions. Richard’s commitment to ongoing professional development is evident in his frequent contributions to client publications and internal education programs. This dedication to knowledge-sharing and mentorship, along with his leadership and expertise, make him an invaluable member of our stellar Appellate team. Richard received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Fairfield University in 2012. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2015. Following graduation, Richard clerked for the Honorable Deborah Silverman Katz, A.J.S.C., of the New Jersey Superior Court.
